UASD Rector calls by operating regional centers attached to the Constitution

Santo Domingo .- The rector of the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, UASD, Matthew Aquino Febrillet teacher said that regional university centers have to abide by the rules and the Constitution of the academy.
The statement was issued by the chief executive's home state higher learning during the last special meeting of University Council, to swear to the elected directors of the Regional University Centers for a period three years.
Aquino Febrillet university authorities clarified that these can not be managed by the employers, as these are NGOs and any action in this regard would be violating university autonomy.
The new directors are academics Leida Carmen Perez of CURC, Bonao, Angel Erich Cedano, CURHAMA, Hato Mayor, Rafael Alvarez Castillo, Curno, San Francisco de Macoris, and Ramon Amparo, the Curno, in Nagua .
